First flight in East Dummerston with Zephyrus' Kiss
On January 5, 2008 we flew Zephyrus' Kiss from our front yard for the first time!! Our own launch site! The weather was absolutely perfect. We took off at about 1:30 in the afternoon and landed an hour later in Putney, Vermont. This was the first time I ever flew from one state into another state and landed back in the state I started in. Vermont, New Hampshire, Vermont. It was Zachary's birthday and the incredible people from the Glens Falls, NY area ( Also known as the Black Sheep Squadron of which I am a proud member) came over to see the new place and scope it out for future flights. This was a very special flight. I can't thank the guys from New York enough!!
