On September 20-21, 2008 I got to spend time with Brenda, Zach, Krista and Trevor and we all went to the 2nd Annual Blackseep Squadron Balloon rally in Queensbury, New York. We flew three times and were able to fly two balloons with incredible weather. Saturday morning at todd Monahan's request I was able to fly the Brazillian Clown now re-named "Clown -N- Around" and owned by Todd. What a great shape to fly. The first one of the four I have flown that flew like a regular balloon. Probably due to the fact that it is pretty much a round balloon with appendiges. Then Saturday evening we had a faster but still awesome flight in Kisses of Fire!! I got to fly Krista who hadn't flown in over a decade. Then on Sunday morning I flew the Clown again and again......I cannot stress how awesome it was to fly this balloon. This rally was a great one and the Blackseep struck again!!!! And again...The Blacksheep Crew...you know who you are.....You Rock!! Thanks big time to Matt and Kara, Brenda, Krista, Zach and Trevor for the awesome help in getting that fat clown in the air. Oh yeah and that cool balloon too! |
